Sometimes, a girl’s just gotta shop:

We’re in the mood for rich fall tones, and this dress from Stella McCartney is just the fix we need. A chunky gold woven bracelet from Mawi is just what we need to add a little edge to our everyday ensembles. And those shoes? Well, really they need no explanation. Jimmy Choo python gladiators. Could they be any more perfect?
We’re heading into the last months of summer, which means taking advantage of every second we have to be enjoying the great outdoors. And, thanks to this awesome little gadget, now you can treat friends to dinner and a movie in your own backyard…

An ipod video projector!?! Why didn’t we find this sooner? The ViewSonic projector hooks up directly to your ipod, making playing downloaded videos and shows a total breeze.

A little backyard BBQ and film premier? Sounds good to us.
The latest album from Brazilian Girls is out, and we’re certainly enjoying the first single, Good Time. After all, we pretty much invented the phrase.

Check it out on their myspace, and add it to your end of summer playlist. Trust us, its the perfect way to get the night started.
Sorry, we’ve been busy. And by busy, we mean traveling to a secret location for our latest photo shoot… but since you’re so cool, and we’re tight like that, we’ll give you a little hint…
That’s all you’re getting! We’ll return to our regular blogging schedule tomorrow. Hudson, out.
Tomorrow, the games begin for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. And while we’d love to attend, it simply didn’t make the cut for our summer plans. However, if we were to visit… you’d better believe we’d be staying here:

The Commune by the Great Wall has several homes and villas tucked into the hills surrounding one of the most amazing sights in the world – the Great Wall of China.

Imagine gazing at this view over breakfast (or lunch… or dinner…).
You can choose to dine in the common areas, which also include a swanky little lounge..

Or stay tucked away in your private home or villa. With rooms like these, you might not want to leave…

Serene, simple and modern, the rooms are made to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings.

Not to shabby, right? Well, while you’re watching synchronized swimming (c’mon, you know you’re gonna tivo that), we’ll be admiring this scenery. See you in Beijing!
We won’t be winning any gold medals this year, but that won’t stop us from indulging in a little bling for ourselves! On the hunt for the perfect gold, silver and bronze, we found them all in one gorgeous shop – Ippolita.
The Gold:

If the polished shine doesn’t blind you, the diamonds will. Talk about a winner!
The Silver:

Simple in silver is the way to go. The wavy disc is Ippolita’s signature piece.
The Bronze:

Ok, so it’s not exactly bronze. Really, it’s just better. Smoky topaz in gold… hmmm, maybe coming in 3rd isn’t so bad after all.
Part of our Olympic prepping includes some easy pieces to relax in while watching the athletes go to it…

For the girls – a comfy retro Olympic logo t-shirt from Asos. We’re partial to the LA ones ourselves.

For the boys – Nike goes for first place with their “Olympic Perforated Metalî sneaks. (via highsnobiety.com)
Throw on your favorite pair of Hudsons, and you’re good as gold.
We can’t all be Olympic athletes. But we have found a few other ways to partake in this year’s games (starting on Friday!) that we’ll be sharing with you throughout the week.
First off? How about a sport we can all engage in: Foosball.

We’re not talking about the broken and battered tables found in your freshman dorm here. We’re talking seriously styled grown-up fun in the form of the RS#2 designer table.

The details are clean and sleek for an aesthetic that can appeal to even the pickiest decorators

The steel structure is coated with layers of polyester paint for durability, and there’s even a stainless option for outdoors

We’ll take the white. Bring on the games!
We love the unique look of photographer Wendy Bevan. Her nostalgic style is sometimes light and sometimes dark. Check out her portfolio and you’ll see what we mean.
