Yes, we usually reserve Tuesdays for sharing our favorite new tunes, but sometimes there’s sweeter music. Like the sound of the CFDA Awards.

Presenter Diane Kruger looked red hot in Jason Wu, and the ever-inseparable Heidi Klum and Michael Kors showed off her baby bump in style (not that we’d expect anything less!).

While red was certainly the color of the night, Blake Lively wowed in shocking pink and a simple cut. A fantastic choice for her. Doutzen Kroes, on the other hand, went over the top in a classically frothy Zac Posen gown.

Any good fashionista knows that it’s hard to go wrong with black, and Julia Restoin Roitfeld and Lake Bell proved that black is anything but boring.

Leave it to Vera and Aggie to make sequins their own. Both of these ladies are pullin’ it off their own way. And the winners?

Sometimes the best “American” designs are found in Paris. At least, when it comes to design house American Retro.

Their most recent SS09 collection has an undeniable hippie vibe (some of the ensembles definitely taking a cue from Cher’s 70′s wardrobe).

We love they way they’ve taken retro patterns and updated them into wearable pieces for today’s modern bohemian.

We’re also digging their much to small “Edition” portion of the collection, which contains four gorgeous embellished black dresses and jumpsuits. If this is the French interpretation of Americana, we’ll take it.

Mom wouldn’t even let us chew gum in church, so eating in one sounds a bit devilish… but not at The White Rabbit.

This Singapore restaurant was transformed out of an old chapel into a peaceful dining space (until the place is packed of course) by keeping the old and adding lots of new. The bar sits at the altar, with a lounge area behind, while the dining area is kept to the main chapel and was created in a ‘cafeteria style’ to keep with the tradition of the space.

The rear cloister was made into a sunporch with folding glass doors, which completely open-up to the outdoor covered terrace, affectionately called “The Rabbit Hole”.

Going to church has never been so fun.

On Monday we found our perfect summer shades. Today we’re on to sandals, and we’re pretty sure there’s no need to look any further than Pour La Victoire for some seriously luxe looks to be rockin’ day to night, all summer long.

A little pop of electric blue would be perfection against a LBD.

Coral toned tan and studs? Swoon. These would definitely be our go-to pair for weekend casual.

Well, we’ve found ours. The Ray Ban Clubmaster – a perfect look that’s so very classic Hollywood, there’s no way we could resist.

We absolutely loved the LA Confidential editorial in the latest Vogue Germany. And not just because it featured the always adorable Heidi Klum, looking sassy as ever. But because we’re ready for some pool time too.

Fashion week isn’t just for debuting new collections. It’s also (apparently) a time to debut new drink concoctions.

While the Cynthia Rowley show a few months ago was all about Fall 2009, the signature drink created just for the show by Basil Hayden was perfectly summery, so we figured it’s time to resurrect it for our own enjoyment as the days get warmer. Ladies and gents, we give you the Basil Hayden ‘Wish’.

Basil Hayden Wish:

1 ounce Basil Hayden

1/2 ounce DeKuyper Luscious Strawberry Patch

1/2 ounce Fresh Lemon Sour

Champagne

Shake all but champagne in a cocktail shaker. Strain into a chilled champagne flute. Top with champagne and serve with a small fresh strawberry on the rim.
