Get the Look: The Kill’s Alison Mosshart

The Kills’ leading lady Alison Mosshart knows exactly how to rock a pair of jeans. While few chicks can own the post-punk, garage-rock style that Alison Mosshart does, we promise to get you as close as possible to this style icons edgy look:
First thing’s first, start with some serious denim. To emulate the Mosshart-esque look, begin with a pair of Hudson N.2 Gonzales skinnies in black sateen. These bad boys allow you to be comfortable without sacrificing style!
Moving on to the torso, we suggest a loose fitting vintage tee. Don’t be afraid of graphics, ladies! A Hudson asymmetrical zip front jacket or a light weight blazer will tone down the look and add a girly flare to the ensemble as well.
In honor of Mosshart’s stage performances, we suggest a combat boot fit for some wear & tear. Tie the laces off halfway up the boot, and allow the tongue to be semi-open to go for a more hardcore vibe.
Accessories are always welcome, but don’t go overboard! A fedora and long necklace will do the trick, or gather some eclectic bangles and skip the rest.
