Artist Frank Chimero started The States series when he ‘noticed that the silhouette of California strongly resembled a snuffed-out cigarette’. (Well… now that you mention it…)

From there, he continued with the rest of the 49 states… an ongoing project where the rules are kept simple: take the silhouette of a US state, and fit something inside of it.

Idaho is for (potato) lovers.

I scream, you scream, we all scream (for Vegas).
