When we first heard Zee Avi’s single Bitter Heart, she had us immediately dreaming of Parisian cafes and loungy summer days. Little did we know that this sweet sound came from a young 23-year-old Malaysian girl with a fantastic little story to match her launch into the music world.

If you need further proof of her awesomeness, Zee was basically discovered via the Raconteursí drummer, Patrick Keeler, and recently signed by Jack Johnson’s label, Brushfire Records and released her self-titled debut in May.
