Thom Yorke ‘All for the Best’

I received a letter today from a good friend of mine. In the letter she attached an article from ‘The Guardian’ newspaper about how gay rights would ‘grind to a halt’ if the Conservative Party won the general election this coming May. It’s hard to believe that in 2010, there are still people who believe homosexuality is ‘shameful’ and ‘wrong’. Thom Yorke’s song ‘All for the best’ was introduced to me at the same time I read up this article.  Yorke sings ‘ It’s a long way to go before we can rest, but it’s all for the best’. These lyrics, simple yet poignant, question how long until this eminent subject is resolved.
