Art Inspiration: The Faberge Egg
We are celebrating 166 years of art inspiration by Peter Carl Fabergé, best known for his Fabergé eggs. The beauty of the Faberge Egg is that something as simple as an easter egg can be transformed into a luxurious work of art.
Hudson Creative Director, Ben Taverniti has been studying the eclectic art & design styles that started really started to make an impact in the 1920′s in Paris. The Faberge Egg embodies the essence of 1920′s french art by pushing the norms of traditional art esthetic, luxurious feel and attention to detail. These factors played a huge part in Ben’s Inspiration for Hudson Jeans Fall 2012 collection.
“We wanted to take this fashion forward pieces into the denim world.” – Ben Taverniti
