Fashion Week NYC: Front Row Darlings and Bursts of Color

One trend emerging in full force on the runways this season is full-on color in tropical shades of turquoise, cherry, yellow, and violet. Alexandre Herchcovitch, the Brazilian designer sent out a full collection of wonderful — just throw it on with nifty pumps — dresses in full on brights, with a subset done in peach. You might have to sport a tan first before wearing one of these bright parfaits. (See video below.)
Socialite Michelle Harper, seen here with unusual up hairdo and pink glasses and painter, Texas native Rosson Crow, LOVED the looks. These ladies sat front row at every show this week, always wearing zany shades. Harper collects couture. And Crow is known for her graffiti paintings, the last series of her interpretations of hot NYC night spots opened at Deitch (with exclusive photos posted here on the Hudson blog.)
