A blizzard has hit NYC– reports say sixteen inches of snow– but so it’s great weather for trekking to the deli for hot cocoa in Hudson jeans and Doc Martens. But, gals envisioning New Year’s Eve parties in glittery frocks need to find some tights alternatives. Here’s where our slideshow kicks in.

Austrian born art gallery manager  (and deejay Paul Sevigny’s main bird) Sophie Aschauer LOVES her leopard print stockings her parents sent her. “No, they were not the good kind!” She tells me with a laugh.
