Now that Isabel Marant’s flagship store has arrived in Soho, maybe someone should convince fan Natalie Portman to buy the boots!

Fashionistas waited with bated breath for Isabel Marant to open her store on Broome Street in Soho, NYC. Funny, that all the official sites like WWD and Style.com only talk about the dinner with model Lily Donaldson, art chicks Chiara Clemente, Mirabelle Marden and a dozen or so “socials” to toast the store at Kenmare last Thursday night. (To note: the food at Kenmare — owned by club kings, fab Paul Sevigny and Nur Kahn — is delicious, even with a bold-faced name crowd.) But, back to fashion, you’ll find the looks below at Marant’s latest outpost.

**The boots are ‘the thing’ and beyond the mini-dresses for which Marant first made her name, her sh@t-kickers would really top off a gorgeous pair of HUDSON jeans in the chicest way possible. Poor anti-leather Natalie Portman won’t be rocking them anytime soon.

But, I’ll officially say that Hudson jeans and Isabel Marant footwear should be marked by Cupid’s arrow. We love..We love!
