One of the great joys of the great British Summer is going for a picnic in the park. While London isn’t typically thought of as a green city once you get into the parks and green areas – Hyde Park, Regents Park, Hampstead Heath and the lesser known London Fields and Brockwell park – you feel that you’ve found your own English country garden in the capital. We say play up to the picnic theme in your dress: cute picnic basket pendants and tank tops typify the British sense of humor towards fashion. Add a wrist-full of bangles and beads and a trusty pair of Hudson shorts and you’ve got a great base for relaxing and grazing on scotch eggs and cucumber sandwiches with friends. Just don’t forget a giant picnic blanket!
